New Year’s Eve celebrations won’t be the same for New Yorkers, as the traditional fireworks in Central Park have been cancelled this year.
According to Time Out, the authorities have officially canceled the usual fireworks shows over Central Park and Prospect Park due to ongoing drought conditions. Instead, there will be drone displays to give you a different taste of the festivities.
