Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)

To get your Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC), you must visit the official Malaysia Immigration Department portal, and fill out the online form within three days before your arrival in Malaysia. The MDAC is mandatory for all foreign visitors, with exceptions for certain nationalities like Singaporeans and Malaysian residents. After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation, and you can download your MDAC in PDF format for your records.
 

How to Complete the MDAC?

1. Visit the Official Portal:Go to the official Malaysian Immigration Department website at imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main. 

2. Register and Fill Details:Click the “Register” button and provide your personal information, including your name, passport number, and date of birth. 

3. Enter Travel Information:Input your travel details, ensuring your submission is within three days of your arrival date. 

4. Submit the Form:Submit the completed form through the portal. 

5. Receive and Download Confirmation:You will receive a confirmation email. Download the MDAC in PDF format for your use upon arrival. 

    Important Points to Remember

    • Mandatory for Foreigners:All foreign citizens traveling to Malaysia must complete the MDAC, except for citizens of Singapore and other specific categories listed in the official announcement. 
    • Submit Within 3 Days:You can only complete the form within three days before your arrival in Malaysia. 
    • Free of Charge:The MDAC is free to obtain. 
    • Check Your Status:If needed, you can check the status of your registration by entering your passport number, nationality, and the PIN received via email on the MDAC portal.
